SERVICE IN SEATTLE

Here are four amazing Seattle-based service organizations that my family and I support. Please click the logos to learn more about them.

The Seattle Children's PlayGarden improves the lives of children with physical or mental disabilities by providing them with full access to a safe indoor/outdoor recreation space and offering inclusive programs that encourage their potential.

Boyer Children’s Clinic is a non-profit therapy and early childhood educational facility under the medical direction of a developmental pediatrician, serving children from birth to teen years who have neuromuscular disorders such as cerebral palsy or delay in development. Our goal is to help each child reach their maximum potential.

---------------------------------------------------

The Chief Seattle Club is a 501(c)3 registered organization dedicated to physically and spiritually supporting American Indian and Alaska Native people. At our center in thePioneer Square district of downtown Seattle, we provide food, medical support, housing assistance, computer training, the Urban Indian Legal Clinic, a Native art program and gallery, weekly Kateri Circle Mass, frequent outings to tribes, pow wows, and museums, and much, much more.

Teachers are at the heart of our society and play a central role in addressing the widening achievement gap in Washington and across the nation. By creating need-based diversity scholarships and support programs, The Martinez Foundation feels it can empower students from underrepresented populations to not only pursue higher education for their own benefit, but also positively impact the students and communities they serve.
