Sherman Alexie and his friend, Colville singer-songwriter Jim Boyd, released this in 1995 on Boyd's production label, Thunderwolf Productions. They both wrote the songs. Boyd does the vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and flute. Sherman Alexie does readings on the last couple of songs. "Small World" appeared in Talking Rain and Honor. The lyrics of the first ten were in Sherman's book Reservation Blues. Jim Boyd fans can find "Treaties," "Reservation Blues," "Father and Farther" and "A Million Miles Away" (from his album First Come, Last Served) on the Smoke Signals soundtrack. He also has a brief cameo in the film playing the guitar at a party in one of the flashback scenes.
