REBECCA CARROLL as THE INTERVIEWER

Rebecca Carroll is a freelance writer/editor and published author of three interview-based nonfiction books, including Sugar in the Raw: Voices of Young Black Girls in America (1997), which received an American Library Association award for outstanding nonfiction. She has written two screenplays, and nonfiction articles and personal essays for publications such as Mother Jones, Time Out New York, Elle, and USA Weekend. Rebecca is currently at work on her first collection of short stories, Killing Time. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
